Resources for You!
Visual, Auditory, Kinesthetic and Touch (VAKT) packages introduce individual graphemes. The packages guide teachers through the process of introducing new letters or letter combinations to the students. The package provides a complete set of instructions and exercises needed to teach a new letter or letter combination. Each package has a set of Discovery Questions used to explore the production of sound (phonemes), and kinesthetic/tactile exploration of letter formation.
Teachers receive a script to introduce new drill cards, historical information of the grapheme, easy step-by-step exercises demonstrating letter formation in print and cursive, and demonstration cards for the class. Alerts point out potential areas of confusion in printing, pronunciation and spelling.
